Our Story
The Kings & Queens Within Us is a non-profit organization that offers a wide range of valuable services to the community. Founded by Bessie Conner, the organization initially started as a support group for women experiencing grief but later expanded to include men as well. The organization obtained its 501(c)(3) status in 2021 and now provides services such as mental health support, food assistance, employment and job placement, senior services, case management, counseling, therapy, and various distributions. The organization also aims to open transitional housing for people in need and has plans for global job placement initiatives within the next year. The Kings & Queens Within Us is dedicated to empowering individuals and connecting them with essential resources.

Our Mission: To be a support in the time of grief. In remembrance of their loved ones, serve the (homeless) hungry, offering Case Management and providing needed necessities to the Seniors.
